SOL THOR linearly adjustable DC Power Manager from 0 to 3.6 kW for photovoltaic heat

SOL•THOR is a DC power manager with linear regulation from 0 to 3.6 kW for photovoltaic heat.

The DC power manager uses the DC current from photovoltaic cells directly to generate heat. Solar energy is efficiently converted into heat by transferring the DC current from the photovoltaic cells exclusively and with minimal losses to a connected heating element.

A notable feature of the DC power manager is its autonomous operation. The device does not require connection to the electrical grid, as it draws energy independently of the photovoltaic generator.

The heating element, such as a my-PV immersion heater, is installed separately in the heat storage unit. This allows the control of existing heating elements in current heat storage systems with SOL•THOR, enabling an economical upgrade of an ecological heating system.

SOL•THOR can be used flexibly in photovoltaic systems consisting of 1 to 10 photovoltaic cells.
